S2. EP22– Jessica Nicholson
On today’s podcast we’ve got Jessica Nicholson. Jess is an incredible force in the world of motorsports not only working as a Race Director, but also a state level racing driver.
Born in South Australia she fell in love with cars at a young age and always wanted to be at the track whenever she got the chance. She has a love for cats, cars and cooking; the three C’s. Jess recently became the Race Director for the Toyota 86 Racing Series and wants to take her career to the international racing stages, much like Michael Masi did with Formula One.
We will hear all about Jess’s career on this episode including her work with Ian Baker’s, World Time Attack. Plus, she has some crazy stories to share as a rally navigator and we chat about the local motorsports community who are working tirelessly to get Wakefield Park back on its feet. If you want to learn what happens behind the scenes in the life of a Race Director, some hilarious track stories and be inspired by someone who is paving the way for women in motorsport, you’ll love Jessica Nicholson’s story beyond the helmet.
